Weightlifter passes out as he is first person ever to deadlift half a TON, "It Almost Killed Me He Said"

The British Brit power lifter muscled his way into the history books thanks to the massive feat after becoming the first man to ever lift that much weight.
Footage shows Eddie – nicknamed The Beast – psyching himself up for the knee-crunching lift at the World Deadlift Championships held in Leeds on Sunday (July 11).

The 28-year-old can be seen gripping the bar and taking a few deep breaths before straightening up with his knees shaking and his veins bulging.

As he drops the weight back down, Eddie falls to his knees and passes out under the pressure.

Several men run onto the stage to support the muscle man after his epic achievement.

Eddie said: “That nearly killed me.

“The pressure on my body was surreal, absolutely surreal and I passed out and had nose bleeds.

“It’s definitely not healthy but I’ve done it and I think it will be in the history books for a long, long time." he told The Sentinel.

After the record breaking lift, The Beast now has his heart set on becoming World’s Strongest Man.

“To be the strongest man on the planet is something everyone would want to be,” he told The Sentinel.

Eddie might not have been able to celebrate thanks to fainting after his deadlift – but if he could –his reaction might have looked a little like this arm wrestler.

The buff bloke has possibly the most extreme reaction to winning matches, as a compilation video perfectly highlights.
